Rebellious at Heart: Self Portraits of My Sisters
This captivating showcase of large-scale figurative oil paintings marks a significant milestone in Perkins’ artistic journey, premiering a body of work meticulously developed over the last four years during her battle with chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. Perkins’ sister, Andrea Dratch, complements the visual feast with performance art and a short film premiere "Shame on Me”. Together, the sisters infuse their creative legacy by bridging art forms and forging a narrative that celebrates self-expression, vulnerability and empowerment.
