Dan Plummer

Digital photograph, photographic print

10”x15”

Man’s landscapes, here and now

I am a retired person, born in the 1950’s, raised in the Midwest, educated in Ohio and Iowa, and went through some of my formative experiences in summers working in Wyoming. Now I live in Louisiana, retired from the chemical business.

My work as a photographer focuses mainly on the question: “what can we as humans and citizens infer from the landscape about our choices over the last five decades?" I am very uneasy with what I see and think, and I am trying to capture some of this tension in photographs as my wife and I travel around in my community and across the country with our small travel trailer in tow.
