Evidence of Our Transience is a three part series that captures images of a deer park where visitors are encouraged to engage with nature through interacting with deer. Each piece captures a ghostly human presence alongside the deer, marking humankind’s temporary and transient existence in this world. The melted imagery is a result of a slow warming process of the wax medium parallel to the warming of our planet. As a result, the smeared pastels show signs of both the deterioration of the memory of togetherness and highlights the current relationship between humans and nature altered by greed and destruction.
